I had a similar problem - I was running a Dell 5324 Switch. Make sure
you have completed the below checklist.
1. Configured jumbo frames on your switch. Save the config and reboot
the switch ( I had to reboot, otherwise it did not work).
2. Changed both ends of the connection to jumbo frames, in my case a
ISCSI SAN and Dell Server.
now try pinging startng at 1400 bytes and working your way up to 9000.
