Ahh, DNS Search Suffixes... got it! Kevin gave you the answer to use a GPO
in the DNS group. Nice new feature...
Right, it appears to work great so far. My only complaint so far is that
in the DNS server management application, I don't see any timestamps showing
me when the client last refreshed the entry. So how do I know the auto
refresh feature actually is working? I also configured DNS logging to
show Updates, but I never see in the DNS or any other EventViewer log a
record that indicates a specific machine updated its DNS entry by secure
update.
