Re: Can not connect to port 25



Are you connecting (TELNETing) to the server's IP address, or to a NetBIOS name, or to a DNS name? If either of the latter two, you may have a name resolution issue.

Also, is your SMTP server configured to respond only to certain IP addresses?

I have tried reinstalling SMTP and a lot more. You can ping the server and connect to other ports but not port 25.
