Re: VPN
Tech-Archive recommends: Speed Up your PC by fixing your registry
What were you expecting to happen? A VPN just gives you an IP connection
to the remote server. Go to a command prompt and do a "net view
\\servername" . This should show you what files are shared on the server.
You can then map a share to your local computer with "net use
\\servername\sharename" .
Remote desktop should work for you across the VPN connection, just as it
does across a LAN. Remember that remote admin is limited to two connections.

Ihave set up a VPN connection to my 2003 server, when I click on it it
connects to the server and logs in, but nothing comes up no desktop or
anything how do I get to do work on it if I connot see it, or how do
I get to see the desktop, I tried remote desktop but it says I am
already connected.
