I've only found one kb article talking about 1056 error
(http://support.microsoft.com/kb/282001/en-us) but it looks useless in your
case. As last resource I'd try to investigate the possibility of database
corruption.
Hope someone else can give you better suggestions, actually I can't imagine
how to help you anymore.
