Just on the off chance that you are trying to connect to the admin shares
(i.e. \\host\c$) be aware that XP Home Edition does not have any admin
shares. You have to create shares yourself first to be able to connect.

All shared folders are in Win XP. Win 2003 only act as DNS, DHCP, RRAS
server. Firewall is on with exception on File and Printer Sharing.
Permission
checked. Ping works fine either with host name or ip. XP able to see all
the
comp on the domain. But, when double click to access the computer (in
order
to see shared folders) the error msg is given. Sigh.. What happen??

Hi,
Usually the default settings allow domain users to access and share
folders.
First you have to check the firewall settings or antivirus programs, they
have to allow File and Printer Sharing ports. Check the permissions on
the
shared folders. Which machine has the shared folders; XP or 2003? Does
this
happen on all machines that share the folders? What happens if you try to
ping the machine that has the shared folders?
