Re: File Sharing doesnt work!

Hi,

Usually the default settings allow domain users to access and share folders.
First you have to check the firewall settings or antivirus programs, they
have to allow File and Printer Sharing ports. Check the permissions on the
shared folders. Which machine has the shared folders; XP or 2003? Does this
happen on all machines that share the folders? What happens if you try to
ping the machine that has the shared folders?

My networks works fine, Workstation connect through 1 Windows Server 2003.
Each of them can connect through internet with the server as gateway. The

when workstation want to access computer with shared folder, the msg it
gets
"\\(host) is not accessible. You might not have permission to use this
network resource..... Network path not found". Any solution to resolved
this?
