Hey Keith,
First think you need to do is ensure all your users are atleast in one
security group. By default this is Domain Users. On the folders you wish to
secure, remove everyone and User permissions from the folder. Add Domain
Users. Go to the Advance section and custom tune your permissions there.
Inside advance you can assign users to read, create files, and modify but
not allow creation of subfolders, etc.
Hope this helps,

Hello - We have a rather large directory structure that we need to secure
in
a very specific way. More or less, we would like to set the necessary
security on the top level folder and then have it propogate down to all of
the subfolders. Here is what we need to do:
1. Allow users to be able to create, delete and modify file within the
subfolders.
2. Disallow users the ability to add, delete or modify the subfolders.
3. Disallow the ability to modify the security on any of the folders.
We have played with all of the special permissions, but we can't seem to
find the right mix to set this security up. Any assistance will be
appreciated.
Thanks,
Keith
