Win2k3 DNS Problem

Hi all,
This is a newbie!
I have a Win 2003 enterprise server, which is the primary domain
controller, with active directory installed. There are some Win XP
clients in the network, they all are joined to domain, and working
properly. I want to add a new XP client to the network, but:
When I use System Properties > Computer Name > Network ID to join the
station to the domain, first it needs a user account in the domain,
which is defined in AD and I provide it with password. The wizard says:
The account exists, do you want to use that, (or something like that),
I say Yes.
I also provide the domain name, e.g. ABCD.COM
Clicking Next in the wizard, gives the error message, and says:
"A domain controller for the domain ABCD could not be contacted.
Ensure that the domain
name is typed correctly."
Clicking "Help" brings up the article, suggesting that I should do:
nslookup
set q=srv
_ldap.tcp.dc._msdcs.DNSDomainName
to add a SRV resource record (which I don't know what it is) to let the
station locate the
AD domain controller.
But when I use nslookup, the first thing I get is:
*** Can't find server name for address 192.168.0.1: Non-existent domain
Default Server: UnKnown
Address: 192.168.0.1
Is this the problem?
But I get this message from all the clients in the domain, and also the
domain controller itself!
What should I do?
Please help me if someone knows the solution.
TIA.
