Re: Not able to reconfigure RRAS on W2K3 Enterprise!

Bill,

ISA did the configuration within RRAS for me. I just checked some settings
there!
Reinstalling ISA and RRAS did not help either!?

Why did you decide to configure this directly in RRAS when you have
ISA
?

Robert,

No solution! At the moment I have configured the RRAS with static IP
pool!

Thanks,

in most case, VPN error 733 is related to DHCP server. To confirm
that, try to use static address pool, can you access the VPN? This
search result may help too.

Hello everybody,

I am running a W2K3 Enterprise Server SP1 with Exchange 2003,
ISA2004,
SQL2005 and , ISS6 on it.
Also I have configured RRAS for using VPN connections through XP
clients.
All was working perfect since a week ago. I do not know what
happend but
suddenly I have the folowing problem;

when I try to make a VPN connection from a WXP workstation to my
W2K3 server
I get a 733 error.
On the Net they advise to Reinstall RASS. Well thats my question
here.
Somehow I am not able to reinstall RASS! I can disable it, but
when I retart
it the settings remain including the error!?

How can I reconfigure RRAS? Or better how can I fix the 733 error?

Hope somebody can help figure it out here...

Thanks in advance,
Herman Franssen
