Not sure if it matters or not, but the server has 3 nics. Dual Intel PRO
100 PCI, and one Intel PRO 1000 integrated. The only one in use is the
integrated, it's got the 192.x IP.

We've got a 2k3 R2 server running IIS. The server has a static 192.x IP
address. When I open up IE and type in http://servername/ IIS responds
normally. When I open IE and type in http://localhost/ I get "The page
cannot be found". Pinging "servername" returns the 192.x IP address,
pinging "localhost" returns the 127 address.
It's almost like the 127 IP cannot respond in IIS, but it responds to
pings fine. We set up servers all the time and have never seen this.
It's our first server to arrive with 2k3 R2. Windows Firewall is
disabled.
Thanks in advance.
