Re: SNMP Fails on Windows 2003 Server (std) DC

Tech-Archive recommends: Repair Windows Errors & Optimize Windows Performance

If it makes you feel any better, I have the same problem with one of
my servers after installing SP1. I have 7 servers total and it only
occured on one. The only way I could get SNMP to start and stay
started was by uninstalling it with Add/Remove Windows Components and
then reinstalling with the Windows CD. That way the old version is
installed. I'm sure this is not recommended but it's the only way I
could get it to work until I did find a solution. I still get some
errors on occasion but it stays started.
I was not able to find any other solutions. Maybe someone here will
get us one.
