Are the two servers with the dual NICs domain controllers?
The issue comes down to multiple NICs registering their names and IPs in DNS
and possible name concflicts with the two NICs, giving two IPs, but the
server has one name. When there are multiple NICs on a DC, the issue gets
worse because of these multi resource records and there is a series of steps
I can post to straighten it out, but don't really recommend it. That is for
a DC. For a member server, and it's being used as an RDP server, you will
still need to do some changes on it. Sometimes it's just easier to single
NIC it and allow traffic to flow thru your infrastructure.
As far as two routers? You mean these two machines? You mean the are
connected to the ADSL modem and offering NAT for your network? If so, I
would suggest to get an inexpensive Linksys to take care of that and remove
the extra NICs on the machines.
