Re: Netlogon event ID 5513

Tech-Archive recommends: Fix windows errors by optimizing your registry

The article is for NT 4 and you should reset the account using AD users and Computers tool. check this page for the details.

Event ID 5513 - The computer name <computer name> connected to server <name> using the trust relationship to the <name> domain. However, the computer doesn't properly know the security identifier (SID) for the domain. Reestablish the trust relationship.

Hello,

Our server has Windows 2000 SP4 on it.  I have a workstation with the same
thing installed.  That computer is causing a Netlogon event ID 5513 in the
server's event log.  I found KB article 150963
(http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kb;en-us;150963) that deals
with this.  It goes over how to fix the problem.  But I can't find the
Server Manager the articles lists in step 1.  Where would I find this on the
server?  Thanks.

Mark
