What sort of network cards do the client machines have? Can they access
the wireless router directly, or do you want the DC to act as the gateway
for the LAN client machines?

It will work either way, but the config is quite different. The thing
you must get right in either case is DNS. Because AD uses DNS to find domain
resources, the AD clients must use the local DNS server. To resolve external
names, you will need to modify your local DNS server to forward these
requests to a public DNS service.
