Network Load Balancing

I just setup NLB on 2 w2k3 servers. The cluster looks like it's working.
Using Terminal Server sessions, how can I verify that the NLB is working?
What basis does NLB distribute the load?
I can suspend, stop, drainstop and all and if 1 server is down the sessions
go to the other server as expected. But if I logon to the cluster with 10
different ID's, they all go to the server that I have #1 priority to even
though they are flaged as equal.
Any ideas?
Thanks
John
