User name and Password

Hi,
On one of our three stations which is XP home connected to the 2003
server,every time we want to open a file or folder computer is asking about
the user name and password and it doesn't save that,we do not have this
problem with our other two stations, I have reinstall the antivirus but the
problem is still there, any comments to fix this problem.Thanks,
