I'm trying to get RIP running on 2003 to provide routes for a XP dial-up
client. I've installed the RIP listener on the client and set the router up
as follows:

OPeration mode: periodic update mode
Outgoing packet protocol: RIP version 2 multicast
Outgoing packet protocol: RIP version 1 and 2

clients connected to the server via the LAN get the routing info fine. i've
looked at network monitor and get a RIP line:

RIP request, 1 Entries (ver. 2)

from the client machine but no apparent response from the server. any idea
what the problem is? thanks for the help
