Yes,

well my current setup is the client using the router as
the default gateway and have it do the work. BUT my boss
doesn't want another "hop" in the network. SO I have to
explain that it really isnt another hop because if the
router sees that a client wants to goto the internet then
it informs the client that it is on the local network and
doesn't actually get "routed" so technically its not
another hop and because the router is 10Base T he thinks
its a bottleneck. Well the only bottleneck would be the
traffic traversing the 10.0.0.0 - 172.16.0.0 network like
once a day. PLus the VLANS run at 100mbit so really there
is no bottlenecks within thier own VLANS.

If I am wrong here correct me please, but I believe what I
am doing now is the best setup.
