Hi,

  In my original post, my problem was that packets were not being
bridged between the two bridged nics. Aftrer creating the bridge, the
two nics were NOT in promiscuous mode. This made me very suspicions
since they would have to be in promiscuous mode in order to do L2
bridging right?

  Since this is an L2 bridge I do not see why it would have to have
any bound protocols... I left it bound to tcp/ip only, but this issue
is academic, my real issus is why the forwarding is not happening and
why the nics are not in promiscuous mode.
