On last Friday we had all of our shares working, on
Monday I come in to find out that the shared folders are
no longer accessable but the printers are. When you go
to a shared folder you get the access denied response
saying you may not have access to this resource and to
contact you network administrator, that server or a
domain controller could not be contacted to verify
privedges. I made sure that the security policies are
working correctly and they are propagating to the
desktops. I got one of the member servers to access the
shares on the servers and desktops and the AD box can
access that member server, but it can't access the
desktop shares and the desktops can't access the member
server, but can access the AD box. And that was only
from a reboot of the whole forest. I am stumped?? Any
input would be greatly appreaciated.
