Hello Sid,
You have to test it, maybe it does.

Hello Sid,
Gost also works for a server. Acronis also. BTW is the server domain
controller, then this kind of install/backup is not supported.

I have a HP DL380 and I need to get a copy of that image to another
server. What is that best/easiest method ?
For the desktops we use ghost, but what should I use on the Server
(s) ?- Hide quoted text -

No, this system does not participate in a domain, but it does have a
RAID configuration.
I was worried that the ghost boot floppy would need a special driver
for the drive.
But it won't, Right ?

Bonus Question: Some time over the past few years, my DVD drives in
my DL380(s) quit reading. Explore shows the drive, but when I tried
to 'explore it', the system hesitates for a few moments and then pops-
up "Please place a CD in the drive ...". I just re-imaged that system
using that CD drive. It had no problem booting off of the 'Smart-Start
CD' or copying files off of the '03 server disk.
Thanks
.
