Im a bit unsure on how to do this. i have read ( from this site:

)that you cannot transfer fsmo roles from sbs2003, if so, how do i
migrate to 2008?

Anything else i should be aware of when migrating from sbs 2003?
I should note sbs is 32bit and new 2008 is 64bit, when running
adprep/forestprep, should i use a 32bit 2008 version of that tool?


Yes, you need to run adprep on the schema master (SBS) and you'll need the
32bit version.

After you're done with Exchange nigration and ready to turn off SBS, you can
seize the roles after SBS is gone.
