Hello kbh,
You hvae to separat the networks with a router and use in each subnet the
scope, needed there. What's the reason for connecting the DHCP servers together
with one NIC?

Hello kbh,
In one physical LAN you can not separate the networks. The client
boots up and sends a request for DHCP address and the server first
comes, first serve. If you will use with different networks in one
physical LAN use fixed ip addresses instead of DHCP.

Hello kbh,
Are these 2 physical networks separated with a router or are they
all
on
the same switch? Should each of the servers provide both different
DHCP scopes?
Please clarify a bit more in detail?

i want to put two DHCP which gives out two different series
(192.168.0.0 and 10.0.0.0) of IP to clients; there are two
domains; one is child domain; each server has got two NIC and
connected each other; (IP 192.168.1.0 servies);
but each of the server cannot send different IP series (DHCP scope) ifthere is only one switch; if require can provide 1 more switch;the purpose is 10.0.0.0 series are lab pcs and to seperated from
the
main one
how can i got about it
how can i make two servers DHCP and lease two different series of
IP
help appreciated
there
is already a fortygate firewall in between
thanks
we seperate network with a switch!
in fact DHCP eases the admin tasks as u know; one section is offfice
users and another is lab; each server has got AD and (Lab server is
child domain) DHCP and have got two NICs; plan to connect two servers
link up by second NICs directly and for internal networks both should
give away appropriate IPs e.g. for labs 10.0.0.0 series and for
Office 192.168.0.0 series
.
