ADMT is out of the question because a trust is required

what you could do:
Export sAMAccountNames and SIDs in source domain
Export sAMAccountNames and SIDs in target domain
Match sAMAccountNames in source domain with sAMAccountNames in target domain (so that it can be used by either SUBINACL or SIDWALKER)
Make a full backup of the server that needs to be moved/migrated
Move server from the source domain to the target domain
re-ACL everything on the server with either SUBINACL or SIDWALKER

I have a couple of Windows 2k3 servers that are members of an old NT4
domain. One server is hosting member home directories. I want to
migrate this server to an AD domain we have in house. This new AD
domain is not in any way trusted with the NT4 domain. The users in
these domains have the same usernames on each.

What is the procedure to accomplish this and are there any hidden
gotchas. I am assuming that the security properties will need to be
redone on the user home directories. Do I have to install any new
software on the 2k3 server?

Thanks,

G
