Hello Ming,

According to this article you find on the R2 disk both versions for adprep on the second disk:
http://support.microsoft.com/kb/917385

If not download the 180-day trial version of 32-bit R2 and run it from there.

Hello Meinolf,

Thank you for your suggestions.
Yes. The Windows 2003 64-bit is a R2 version.
Can you send me how to upgrade the Schema from 32 bit version?

Is input Windows 2003 32-bit server disk into cd drive? And run
adprep.exe
to upgrade Schema on Windows 2003 64-bit R2 version server?
If yes. I tried the before steps. The windows error message occurs
"This
version of Windows cannot be installed on this machine".
Thanks
Ming

Hello Ming,

You can. But if it is a R2 version you have to upgrade the schema
from a 32 bit version.

additional domain controller from my existing windows 2003 domain.

My company existing network have two domain controller.

(Global
Catalog Server)
2. 2000 32-bit standard server with service pack 4 (just only for
file
sharing)
I find a knowledge base but not any post about my situation. Anyone

Thank you very much!
