RE: Virtual machine migration

Dear Customer,

Thanks for posting here.

For the migration of virtual machine between hosts which are running
Virtual Server 2005 R2, you simply copy the following types of virtual
machine files from the old server to the new one.

virtual hard disk image file (.vhd)

virtual machine configuration file (.vmc)

virtual machine saved state file (.vsv)

Please note: When moving a virtual machine between hosts, make sure to
completely shutdown the virtual machine firstly.
