| Hello,
|
| I am having difficulty transfering a zone from a Windows 2000 DC to a
| Windows 2003 DC.
|
| I have a Windows 2000 DC and a single domain/forest/tree and a single
zone.
| On my Windows 2003 server, I configured the TCPIP settings to use the
| Windows 2000 server as the DNS server, then I joined the server to the
| domain. Then I ran DCPROMO on the Windows 2003 server. After the reboot,
on
| the Windows 2003 server, I do not have any SRV records or any pointer
| records in my zone.
|
| I deleted the zone and recreated the zone, with no luck. The zone on the
| newly promoted Windows 2003 DC will not transfer any information from my
| Windows 2000 DC.
|
| Any ideas?
|
| Thanks,
| Scallica
