Re: User Profiles and Setting from 2003 32bit to 2003 64bit?

Tech Tip: Click here to run a free scan for Windows Errors and optimize PC performance

Please tell me where in the manual that applies to what I'm trying to do.

All of my users are already in the same domain, I just want to move the MyDocuments and Favorites Folders from user profiles on one machine to another where the users have not logged in yet.

Thanks,

| So I've installed ADMT, though I'm still not sure how this applies.
|
| I have Users in DomainA, on Terminal Server MachineA, with user profiles
| from DomainA.
| I want to get rid of MachineA and only use a new Terminal Server,
MachineB.
| The users are still part of DomainA. though I want to copy the user
profiles
| over to MachineB.
|
| More Specifically, the MyDocs and Desktop files, and Favorites. The other
| settings I'm not as concerned, as we are also switching from x86 to x64
and
| from Office 2003 to Office 2007.
|
| Since the users have not logged into MachineB yet I cant copy the MyDocs
and
| Desktop files, and Favorites to the profiles folders. I dont want to make
| alkl of them log in and then copy. I jsut want to point the Old IP to the
| new server and have all of the ThinClients just reconnect.
|
| Thanks,
| Scott<-
