Greetings,
I need to move several File and Print Servers to a new domain and
continueusingthem to be compliant with the new domain naming standards. I plan on
ADMT for this part.
I want to use DFS Consolidation Root Wizard to allow users to
theto
use existing URLs to access these migrated servers.
Question 1. Will this work since the NEWSERVER and the OLDSERVER are
\\OLDSERVERNAME\PRINTERSHARENAMEmigratedsame server? All the examples are senarios where the data is being
to new hardware.
Question 2. Will the DFS functionality that allows users to still use
\\OLDSERVERNAME\FILESHARENAME also allow
to
continue to work? I do not see any mention of Printer shares in the
documentaion.
Thanx Frank Smith
.
