RE: Migrate File Server and add default permissions

Tech-Archive recommends: Fix windows errors by optimizing your registry

Hi,

I'd like to recommend a tool called subinacl.SubInACL is a command-line
tool that enables administrators to obtain security information about
files, registry keys, and services, and transfer this information from user
to user, from local or global group to group, and from domain to domain.

I am migrating a file server from our old NT4 Domain to our new 2000 AD
Domain. I've used xcopy and robocopy and played with secure copy to
migrate the data. I have no problem moving the data I would just like
to add the default permissions of Administrators(local), System, and
Creator/Owner. Is there a way to script this or is there a utility
that will let me add users to all files even if the folders are not
inheriting permissions from the parent. Again I don't want to replace
permission i just want to add more across the board.

Any Help would be greatly appreciated.
