I am in the process of replacing an existing file server. This will be
completely new hardware. I'm planning to do the following using Veritas
Backup Exec V9:

1) Backup the files from the current file server onto tape

2) Restore the files onto the new server with the same directory
structure (different drive letter)

Will this preserve the permissions? I plan to recreate the shares
manually (already have the batch file ready).
