RE: ADMTv3 and SQL Windows authentication permissions

Hi,

Regarding sql 2000 migration between domains, you should consider two phase:

Phase 1: Migrate the sql 2000 server as normal memeber server migration.

Phase 2: Use Mapsids.exe to map SIDs between user and master Databases.
Check followin article:

SAMPLE: Mapsids.exe Helps Map SIDs Between User and Master Databases When
Database Is Moved

I'm planning on moving a SQL Server 2000 2-node cluster in a Windows 2000
domain that uses Windows authentication to a Windows 2003 domain. Can the
ADMTv3 modify the SQL permissions or is there another tool available that
can
handle that function?
