NT4 domain migration to Win2003 - Underscore in Domain Name Issue!?

I have read several newsgroup postings from Steven Liu... and they have
conflicted.

In one he says do NOT migrate an NT4 domain with an underscore.

In another he states it is not a problem

What is the 100% answer?

If I attempt to migrate an NT4 domain called COMPANY_DOMAIN to Win2003
will there be issue(s) and what are those issues?
