You might be able to get away with creating a two way trust between the two
domains.
If you must put then into your AD domain, look into using ADMT.

Hi
I currently have a satellite office which has a .local domain name and is
connected to our main office via VPN.
The plan is that the small office is going to grow soon so we want to
integrate this site into our company.com domain as a seperate site so all
AD
administration can be done from 1 location and shares can be accessed from
both sites.
Can anyone giveme some pointers on how to do this
.
