RE: Login script

I am running the login script using dos batch file or vbs script. None of the
scripts are implemented via Group Policy. What do I need to do to make sure
the migration from NT4.0 to windows 2003 AD works smoothly. I am planning to
copy all the files from the netlogon share and copy it to the same way in
2003 AD will that work . Any thing to watch out.

Thx...

Hi,

1, regarding the script, I'm not sure, do you mean the system policy in
NT4? You can refer to following article to migrate system policy

How to use the Group Policy Migration utility to migrate Windows NT System
Policy settings to Windows 2000 or Windows Server 2003
http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kb;en-us;317367

2. Regarding Wins server migration, you can refer to following article:

300473 HOW TO: Migrate a WINS Database from Windows NT 4 Server to Windows
2000 Server

Hope this helps.
