Yer ive seen that article - unfortunately i dont have the original
protar.mdb to extract from...

i ended up just dumping the SID's and SamAccountname from each domain,
then using vbscript and dictionaries to match the new domain SID with
the SID history - voila - the sam names are all matched....

easy once you think about it, but still, surely it would be quick and
easy for ms to write a tool that dumps info from each domain and then
matches up using SIDHistory (assuming your migrate with sid history) -
anyhoo -doesnt matter now....
