RE: MS File Server Migration Tool Question.

Tech-Archive recommends: Fix windows errors by optimizing your registry

Hi,

You can re-migrate the folder but all files under the folder will be
migrated again. FSMT doesn't support incremental migration.

Thanks.

Greetings,
I am using the Microsoft File Server Migration Tool Kit to move some data
folders and files over to a new data server. Using the File Server
Migration
Tool, if I migrate a folder with files from the source server over to the
new
data server today, is there a way that I can migrate that same folder
from
the source server over to the new data server tomorrow, and have it just
move
the files that have changed since today's migration?

Basically is there a way in the file server migration tool to do an
"incremental" migration similar to an incremental backup where the source
folder looks at the target folder and only copies the files that are
different or have changed since the last migration?

Thank you in advance for any and all information.
