So im upgrading the NT PDC to 2003. Now im sitting in the stage BEFORE
installing active directory and AFTER the Windows 2003 install.

Should the NT4 BDCs still see the upgraded machine as a PDC? Cause in
the server manager everything is now a BDC.

Also.. when i try to navigate to \\randomcomputername it brings up a
username/password box. Is this normal?

I just want to know if i should proceed to upgrade to 2003.. or if
something has gone nuts with installation.

Thanks a million
A quick response would be MUCH appreciated!
