RE: File Server Clustering Question

Hi,

Since migration newsgroup mainly focus on the process of migration between
two domains or file server migration between two boxes. I think
microsoft.public.windows.server.clustering should be more approprate for
your issue. Thanks for understanding.

I do understand you have post this issue in that newsgroup and I hope you
get satisfied answer there.

Have a good day.

Hey everyone,

We are running a Windows 2003 domain and we have two old Windows 2000
file
servers. We are buying two new replacement servers (running Windows 2003
Enterprise.) for the old file servers. We would like to cluster them
into
an active/passive node cluster.

Can anyone point me to a step-by-step document for doing this?

We have all the hardware for a cluster and a SAN in place already (EMC FC
SAN, HBA cards, FC Switches etc...). I just need a document to show me
the
steps for clustering a file server under Windows 2003 ent.

TIA,

Clayton
