Hi Steve,
i have another question to ask, so another team memeber created a new
forest/domain but we are going to leave the root domain empty except for
DNS.
we also created a new domain tree. i have have run netdiag. dcdiag and
repadmin and they come up normal i can do a net view into eachother, but
i am
unable to get AD users and computer to to locate the other domain and
repadmin/showtrust it comes up normal. so with this happening i am uable
to
install exchange in the new domain tree because i can not connect see the
root. i have been lost on this for about a week. and i just thought in
2003
that we can connect to the different domains tree's within the forest
without
setting it up. when i try to access the other domain i get this error
windows cannot connect to the new domain for the following reason the
server
is not operation. and i am running domain funactional level 2003
if you can help that would be great!
