RE: ADMT - User List for Migration

Thank you very much for your answer.

I have red "Rename Objects During Migration" part of domainmig.chm file,
which comes with the installation of ADMT. However, I am not sure if it
effects login names. Because I haven't tested it. Can you enlighten me
regarding renaming objects. Which objects and names can be renamed during
migration?

Hello,

Thanks for posting!

Q: For example, jennya is a login name of a user account in Domain A in
Forest
A. By using ADMT tool, is it possible to migrate this user account to
Domain
B in Forest B and change the login name to yajenn? Or do we have to migrate
the user account and then change the login name?

A: ADMT cannot migrate the user account and change the login name. You may
want to migrate the user account and then change the login name.

Hope the information helps.
