| It has nothing to do with DHCP finally, it was due to helper address that
| was not in place on the router. The network guy did not put the helper
| address for the clients to understand which server to go for DHCP and
| whether this server was available as the DHCP server. So, now he has
added
| that, and I should be able to get my new DHCP server up and running.

| thanks again!! May be this is helpful for people who have similar issues,
| and similar issues with a router guy who says that there is nothing that
he
| has to do with the router, and everything is perfect.
