RE: Users unable to browse trusted domain

Hi Jason,
I've tried using browstat to aid the diagnostic process, it returns the
message "Browsing is NOT active on the domain. Status : 6118"
Is there a way to jump start the browser?
I've changed the registry keys TcpipClientSupport and AllowPasswordExport
back to where they were before I did any account migrations. I can't think of
any other change that has been made.

Hi Jason,
No, I haven't tried that yet, only just got into the office today.
What I have tried is to move a computer from the domain into a workgroup,
then back into the domain. This made no difference.
I'll try your suggestion next!
Thanks,
Neil.

Hello,

Have you attempted to remove the computer from the Server Manager and
rejoin it? Does it still grey out?

| Hi Jason,
| I've checked both of those and the issue is still there!
| I've even taken a computer account out of the NT4 domain, and the added
it
| back in.
| When I look in Server Manager the account is listed, but is greyed out.
