RE: Users unable to browse trusted domain

I suspect that this has something to do with my problem!
If I go into server manager on the NT4 Domain Controller, all but 5
workstations are greyed out. The remaining 5 are the only machines I can see
from my network places on the NT4 Domain, and then only when signed in as an
Administrator.
This is since I created the trust to the 2003 Domain and migrated one
computer account and one user profile.
Thanks,
Neil.

Hi Jason,.
The error message is (From a user logged into domain ABCDE)
"ABCDE is not available, you might not have permission to use this network
resource. Contact your administrator to find out if you have access
permissions.
The list of servers for this workgroup is not available"
Yes, unc paths work.
Computer browser service is running on both domains

Hello
Thank you for your update!
1. What is the exact error message when browsing My Network Places?
2. Can you access the resource via UNC (\\servername\share)?
3. Please confirm you have enabled the Computer Browser service
successfully.
Best Regards,
Jason Tan

| Hi Jason,
| I've recreated the two way trust and validated both directions
successfully.
| I've still got the same problem, from the 2003 domain the NT$ domain does
| not appear in My Network Places. From the NT4 domain, abcde, abcde is
listed
| in My Network Places, but if a user tries to browse they get an error
| message.
| I'm confused as to how this is due to a trust relationship, as the issue
is
| also affecting the ability to browse the domain the user is logged into!
| Regards,
| Neil.
