RE: Migrating users to another server



Hi,

We must know the SID is exclusive. If you are using Domain user account, it
is exclusive in the domain wide. If you are using a local computer account,
it is exclusive in the computer scope wide. That is mean even if you use
robocopy to copy the file or folder with SID, it cannot be recognized on
the target machine because we cannot reproduce a user account with the same
SID.
