Hi,
I know this links but there is no information about the xml file structure
and about the tags.
FSMT is a great tools, i use it in a large migration, but i need more
flexibility than FSMT offer.
I need to change target share name, target physical location and so on on
multiple share. (i do this with an external tools that parse the xml).
I need to have the capability to change the Stage, for example my team have
already made some "mistake" and return from the Copy stage to the validation
stage, or return from validation Stage to Copy Stage.
I need to use more than two threads for the differents Stage (i do this with
an external tools that parse the xml)
I would like to be able to define that a specific share begin in the first
copies, because this share is the biggest and then if it start in a first
thread i reduce the global time of migration.
I would like to copy Share security but not NTFS Security
I would like for a particular share that FSMT do not re-create this share on
the Target, because is already exist for example.
Microsoft make some great migration tools FSMT, ADMT,... unfortunately there
is a lack of flexibility for the use in big infrastructure.
Thanks,
Delfim Da Costa.
