Re: replace win2k server with win2k3

Tech Tip: Click here to run a free scan for Windows Errors and optimize PC performance

Vincent,
I have read that document - as I said, I had originally intended to migrate
via ADMT. However, after a tech support incident with Microsoft, and the
lack of a step-by-step guide to ADMT, it was recommended to not use the
utility (I was receiving many errors) and to add a new server and perform
the replacemet that way. That is why I was looking for guidance for how to
get the new server added to the network, then promoted to take over.
Thanks,
-Jason
