RE: Server 2k migration to Server 2k3

Tech-Archive recommends: Repair Windows Errors & Optimize Windows Performance

Hi,

Maybe I'm not very clearly.

1. Build Windows 2003 on a new machine.
2. Promote it to DC and named the domain another name(with the old one)
3. Migrate user account from old domain to new
4. Migrate computer accounts from old domain to new.

I'd like to recommend you use a tool called ADMT:

326480 How to use Active Directory Migration Tool version 2 to migrate from
http://support.microsoft.com/?id=326480

Hope it helps.
