| Hi Wilson,
|
| Thanks for posting!
|
| At this point, it seems that you have failed to migrate user profiles
with
| ADMT.
|
| Note: user profiles migration (Computer migration Wizard) should be done
| before you login to the client with this user account.
|
| As you indicated, "He is unable to see his original wallpaper. Even he is
| unable to change wallpaper", Is there any error when you change the
| Wallpaper? Can you use a BMP image for the wallpaper?
|
| In nature, this is a non-migration issue currently. According to the
| current situation, I would like to suggest you follow the below article

| | Hello,
| |
| | I did the server migration. And now I am working on the workstation
| | migration. An user, User_A has the Domain User right on the Domain
| | Controller. It's the same as he has a Domain User right in NT4.
| |
| | I use my Administrator account and help user_A to copy all his profile
| from
| | his old profile to his new profile, so User_A can get back all his
| desktop
| | setting as he used before. (I use System Properties | User Profiles |
| "Copy
| | to" and copy the profile. Not in Windows Explorer, copy and paste)
| |
| | Unfortunately, when User_A logon with his account. He is unable to see
| his
| | original wallpaper. Even he is unable to change wallpaper. He is a
Domain
| | User who under an OU, not Domain root. He is also an Administrator at
the
| | workstation. Is there anyone knows why? Thanks!!
| |
| | On the other hand, is there anyone knows how to map a network printer
| from
| | the logon script? I tried net use ltp1: \\servername\printername , but
it
| | doesn;t work! Shall I use con2prt.exe as well? Is this the only way?
| Thanks!
| |
| |
